Welcome, to bornemania.com, where our world comes alive. You can navigate to your left to find information on
Art History, World History, Academic Decathlon,
and American Government. Although this site is primarily designed as a supplement for the classes of Robert Borneman at Oxnard High School, in Oxnard, California,
we encourage all around the world (students, teachers, and learners of all stripes) to come and
make use of the resources offered here.
Warning from the Webmasters: Updates on each site will be posted on
the main page of each section periodically. Religion and Geography will not be significantly linked until my teaching assignment changes again.
Site updates:
- A basic History of Art and Film Reviews page is being
developed (3-06). Aca Deca (both Spring and Fall) are being
expanded.
Site has been vastly helped by Andrew Carrillo
('06). He and Clay Levering helped
re-doing the links on the navigation bars, working to repair all
broken links, as well as scanning tons of images for the first
semester of World Civ. Check out "About"
for more info on both Andrew and Clay. - World Civ. up and coming along nicely; however, most of the
first semester images
have been re-scanned and re-thumbnailed.
- Geography is not expected to
be useful until I get assigned to teach it again...
- American Government is up - most
projects are up, and a syllabus is in place for each semester, complete with Honors options
- Film Reviews will be developed over the summer (2006) and the World Religions section will not be on-line until I am teaching that class again.
I have made a page for Academic Decathlon which now links to this main menu and on the message boards.
- Borneman's Corner is a bunch personal of odds and ends; feel free to browse
-
The Message Board, built by Clay, is up and running well. Register and
post away!
